I’ve never used skincare before. Where should I start?

Start with a cleanser, a moisturiser and daily sunscreen. Our Daily Detox Cleanser and Age Defense Light Day Cream cover cleansing and moisturising, then finish with a separate SPF. Once you’re consistent, you can add the Regenerating Moisture Night Cream and introduce the Resurfacing Peel according to its directions.

I exercise and eat well. Why does my skin need a routine too?

Your skin is your largest organ and deserves the same attention you give your training, nutrition and recovery. Healthy habits support your skin, but sweat, sun exposure, shaving and air conditioning create additional demands. Cleansing, moisturising and sun protection help care for it directly.

Do I need the full range, or can I start with one product?

You can start with one product and build from there. If you already have a routine, choose the product that addresses what’s missing. If you’re starting from scratch, prioritise cleansing, moisturising and sunscreen before adding extra treatments.

What are neurocosmetics, and what can they do for my skin?

Neurocosmetics explore the connection between the skin and nervous system. MÄNN uses TiMOOD™, a timut pepper-derived active studied for improving skin tone evenness and reducing visible redness. Its supplier research also explores emotional wellbeing under stress, although this does not mean skincare is a treatment for stress or anxiety.

Can women use MÄNN products?

Yes. MÄNN is built with men in mind, but women can use the products too. Choose according to your skin’s needs, ingredient sensitivities and texture preferences.

In what order should I apply my products?

Morning: Daily Detox Cleanser → Age Defense Light Day Cream → separate broad-spectrum sunscreen.

Evening: Daily Detox Cleanser → Regenerating Moisture Night Cream.

On evenings when you use the Resurfacing Peel, apply it after cleansing, follow its application and removal instructions, then finish with your moisturiser.

How should I fit skincare around training and shaving?

If you train in the morning, do your cleansing and moisturising afterwards rather than repeating your full routine before and after. Following a sweaty session, gently cleanse and moisturise; for outdoor training, apply water-resistant sunscreen beforehand and reapply as directed.

When shaving, cleanse first, use a shaving product and moisturise afterwards. Avoid applying the Resurfacing Peel to freshly shaved or irritated skin.

Do I still need sunscreen?

Yes. MÄNN’s day cream does not replace sunscreen, and ingredients that address visible signs of sun-induced ageing do not provide an SPF. Apply a separate broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher as the final step in your morning skincare routine. Reapply every two hours when outdoors and after swimming or sweating, following the sunscreen’s instructions.

How long should I use the products before assessing the results?

You may notice softer, more hydrated-feeling skin early on. Changes in uneven tone, texture and fine lines take longer, so allow around 6–12 weeks of consistent use to assess your routine. Results vary by product and skin type; persistent irritation is a reason to stop, not something to push through.

How long will each product last?

It depends on how often you use it and how much you apply, including whether you cover your face and neck. Follow the recommended amount on each product rather than applying extra. The Resurfacing Peel contains 10 single-use sachets, giving you 10 treatments.

How should I store my products, particularly in a hot climate?

Keep your products below 30°C, away from direct sunlight and heat. In a hot climate, an indoor cupboard in an air-conditioned room is a better choice than a car, windowsill or gym bag left outside. Keep the packaging closed between uses and follow the storage and expiry guidance on each product.

Are MÄNN products vegan?

Yes. All MÄNN products are vegan and contain no animal-derived ingredients.

Is MÄNN cruelty-free?

Yes. MÄNN is cruelty-free. We do not test our products on animals.

Are the products dermatologically tested?

Yes. MÄNN products have been dermatologically tested to assess skin tolerance. Individual sensitivities can still occur, so we recommend patch testing before introducing a new product.

What does CosmEthically ACTIVE certification mean?

MÄNN products are CosmEthically ACTIVE certified. The certification assesses natural-origin cosmetic formulations against criteria covering ingredient selection and the use of active ingredients at meaningful concentrations.

What does 100% natural origin mean?

Our formulas use ingredients of natural origin, including ingredients obtained through processes such as fermentation. Natural origin does not mean unprocessed, and it does not guarantee that an ingredient will suit every skin.
